"Even though I'm still healin', I'm still workin'.As I've often said..I've dreamed myself into a corner. So I'm gonna keep on working as long as I can see everything come to life." Thoughts she shared less than a week ago. Like a mother comforting her children while the devil's at the door. The final days of such an amazing, beautiful life. During my time in this business, I've been up close to Miss Dolly twice. Walking into the room each time and instantly owning it with her charm and wit. The Nashville she came to in the 60's tried to define her. Instead, she became the definition of incredible success that comes with being as fearless as she was talented. Damn you death. We weren't ready to say goodbye. Dolly, we'll always love you ❤️
