It’s not until tomorrow, but as I lay here tonight I’m already thinking about how big of a blessing it is for me to get to celebrate the birthday of the greatest man I have ever known. I had never heard this song until tonight, but I have never resonated with a lyric more then: “When God made you my father he was being good to me.” Dad you are my hero and everything I hope to be one day. Thank you for your unconditional love in all the times I did nothing to deserve it. You are everything to me and every day I work hard so that I make you proud.
