My 5th Father’s Day without him. I don’t often use the word “hate” when talking about someone I love and miss, but there are things about losing my dad that I’m finding impossible to accept. I hate that’s he’s not here to watch his grandkids grow up. I hate that I can’t call him on my drive home from work. I hate he can’t be part of the milestones (he would’ve loved the girls’ graduations), and I hate that we can’t still celebrate simple days like Father’s Day together. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him and miss him. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost their dad too soon, including Steve Pool’s family. 💔 Steve makes a very funny cameo in this video from my 50th birthday.
