Puppies and yacht rock. This is a quality Friday. 🐶🎶 And you can do it all again this Sunday at Pup Jam at The Boathouse in St. Charles! Dave Farver and The Portholes will be playing from 2–6, bringing the yacht rock and a Doobie Brothers medley featuring “Listen to the Music” and “Jesus Is Just Alright.” It’s an afternoon of dogs, yacht rock, cold drinks, and helping some very good boys and girls. Clare’s House does incredible work helping families stay together with their pups, including fostering dogs when families are dealing with medical or financial hardships. They help keep dogs out of shelters and with the people who love them until they’re ready to come home. Boathouse owner Rich is a former canine cop and a huge dog lover, so this really is the perfect place for Pup Jam. Great time. Great people. Great cause. And a whole bunch of very good dogs.
